About The Team/role
You will be join a young, energetic information security team which their dynamic approach and fresh perspectives will foster innovation and lead to effective solutions in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity.
As an Information Security Intern, you will be an integral part of our organization's information security team. This internship is designed to provide you with practical exposure to real-world cybersecurity challenges and enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.

About The Team/role

As an Information Security Intern, you will be an integral part of our organization's information security team. This internship is designed to provide you with practical exposure to real-world cybersecurity challenges and enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
In this role, you'll be...
- Review and Update Documentation: The intern will be responsible for reviewing and updating documentation related to policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines pertaining to information security.
- Research and Evaluation: The intern will research and evaluate various application, services & processes that could be optimise & automated. They may provide a matrix detailing the features of each application or service.
- Knowledge Content: Assisting with the deployment and upkeep of the information security department's documentation repository.
- Compliance Monitoring: The intern will assist in the first-level compliance monitoring and investigations related to information security.
- Incident Recording and Tracking: Recording and tracking security incidents, which may include IAM violations, compromised accounts, e-mail threats, and abuse reports from various sources.
- IAM & Security Operation: The intern will participate & assist daily operations, and can back-fill & support other team members on as needed basis.
- Other Duties: The intern may be assigned other miscellaneous duties related to information security as needed.
- Availability to intern 30 hours per week and with an expected graduation date between Dec/24 and Dec/25
- Upholding and enforcing institutional policies is a must.
- Strong English writing & verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
- Technical Knowledge: Students with working knowledge of TCP/IP, Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, and web design (HTML or WYSIWYG editor) will be given preference.
- Great to have good analytic skill and business sense.
- Students enrolled with a concentration in Information Technology or majoring in Computer Science may receive preference.
