In this role, you'll be...
Job responsibilities:
- Local Support: Maintain good communication with stakeholders in various internationalized businesses, primarily based in Brazil (including departments related to finance and taxation). Lead local outsourced consultants to promptly respond to user issues, complete series of system support and operations primarily focused on financial month-end closing, and summarize common issues for documentation. Analyze and clarify user requirements, and document them in requirement confirmation documents.
- Solution Design: Independently or collaboratively with headquarters ERP consultants, develop system solutions based on experience with localized finance and taxation solutions primarily in Brazil within the company's internal ERP system framework.
- Project Management: Develop project plans based on system solutions, synchronize project status with local project stakeholders regularly, collaborate with headquarters ERP consultants and technical teams for system development, lead local outsourced consultants in coordinating local user testing, and facilitate solution deployment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS and other ERP system implementation, support, and project management, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Proficiency in ERP system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting, including GL, FA, AP, AR, RI module.
- Strong understanding of finance and taxation processes and regulations, particularly in the Brazilian context, able to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, including planning, execution, and monitoring of ERP implementation projects.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese (Spanish is a plus), to effectively communicate with stakeholders across different regions, able to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including local consultants and headquarters-based teams.
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and developments in ERP systems, finance, and taxation.
