About The Team/role

99Pay is the digital account of 99, rapidly expanding across Brazil with increasing investments in marketing to fuel its growth.

The Media Manager will integrate the Marketing team in 99Pay, adding a specialized media outlook for all media campaigns and initiatives. The media manager will work closely with the marketing and operations teams, as well as advertising agencies to define media strategy, investments optimization, among other responsibilities. This person may have a hands-on profile and wide experience in paid media, both online and offline.

In this role, you'll be...

  • Understanding Marketing and Operations needs and collaborate on the definition of branding and business KPIs. Transpose these needs into media strategies in order to achieve these goals.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact between 99Pay and the media agency team. The Media Manager will be the single media owner for campaigns, aligning and engaging with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, business analytics and agencies) to ensure seamless campaign implementation and integration. Set data-driven strategy, define attribution and measurement, and drive optimization.
  • Collaborating with media and BI agencies to develop an annual media strategy considering existing budget, target audience, regional specificities and shared strategy with other BUs.
  • Collaborating with agencies to ensure accurate media planning, buying, execution and reporting processes. Continuously review and optimize media operations processes to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Being the owner of media budget and guarantee spent coherence according to 99Pay objectives and different media channels / vendors.
  • Working closely and discuss key insights and recommendations with Marketing and Operations teams, based on regular and ad-hoc reports.
  • Working closely and partner with tech and product teams to develop initiatives regarding media measurement and ensure alignment with global teams.
  • Establishing guidelines, processes, and training to ensure consistent utilization and organization of media history and investments across agencies and teams.
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of full-funnel media performance to uncover insights and opportunities that can enhance growth and campaign effectiveness
  • Developing direct and positive relationships with media partners and tech/measurement vendors.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Analytics or related fields.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in media planning, optimization, and analysis, ideally with online and offline media.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful, data-driven media strategies and driving continuous improvement.
  • A great relationship builder, both internally and externally, capable of managing and engaging multiple stakeholders.
  • Curious and critical approach to data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Strong ethics and ownership drive.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese.
