Flare is a breakout cybersecurity Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company with a mission to empower organizations to take control of their data and protect their customers, employees and brand by shedding light on external threats. We enable cybersecurity teams to proactively detect high-risk external exposure across the dark and clear web, before threat actors have a chance to leverage it. We unify the core functionalities of cyber threat intelligence and external attack surface management into a single, intuitive platform.

TL;DR: We are a bunch of geeks who help protect our clients' data (and people in their network) by locating cyber risks.

The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Intern to join our high-performing marketing team. This role sits at the intersection of marketing operations, nurturing campaigns, and field marketing, giving you exposure to both the analytical and creative sides of growth marketing in the cybersecurity space. You’ll help optimize how we attract, engage, and convert prospects—supporting everything from our event strategy and logistics to our email automation, data hygiene, and reporting processes.

What You’ll Do

Marketing Operations & Nurturing

  • Support campaign execution and automation in HubSpot (emails, landing pages, workflows).
  • Maintain data quality across marketing systems (lists, lifecycle stages, lead scoring).
  • Help analyze campaign performance and produce reports to inform optimization.
  • Assist with content and asset updates for nurture and re-engagement programs.

Field Marketing

  • Support logistics and pre-/post-event activities for conferences, webinars, and regional events.
  • Coordinate booth and collateral needs with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Track and follow up on event leads, ensuring smooth handoff to sales.

What We’re Looking For

  • A student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Passion for cybersecurity, B2B tech, or SaaS industries.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Basic understanding of marketing automation and CRM (HubSpot is a plus!)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Creative, collaborative, and eager to learn across different marketing functions.
