Instacart is looking for an organized and creative Workplace Lead for our New York office to help make Instacart one of the best places to work. Inclusive of managing day to day office operations, programs, and contributing to the execution of goals while delighting Instacart employees and creating an atmosphere in which people thrive. This position is an in-office role, which requires to be onsite Monday-Friday during core business hours.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Create and maintain a productive and healthy work environment

• Lead and facilitate projects as it relates to the New York office

• Produce and maintain complex budgets for the New York office

• Manage vendors and contractors, review budget increases, evaluate changes as needed, and manage vendor escalations

• Oversee Workplace (New York) vendor contracts and relationships

• Own relationships for Workplace (New York) with cross functional partners

• Responsible for implementing health & safety protocols for the New York office

• Operate with critical and strategic thinking for all projects, programs, and procedures

• Maintain consistency of the office environment with all workplace locations

• Other duties as assigned

ABOUT YOU

• B.A. or B.S. degree

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in workplace, or equivalent experience

• Ability to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 30lbs/14kg, dolly to be used for over 30 lbs/14kg

• Ability to build out and operate within complex budgets

• Adaptable to an ambiguous environment

• Experience working with senior executives

• Superior organizational skills and follow-through on tasks

• Expert in GSuite

• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal

• Ability to interact professionally, effectively, and in a friendly manner
