Your impact

At Handshake, we're on a mission to democratize access to opportunities for students and connect them with their dream careers. We're looking for a driven and motivated Product Working Student to join our European product team based in Berlin. This is a unique opportunity to help us bring Handshake's vision to Europe and empower students to find their dream careers.

As a key member of our European product team, you'll play a pivotal role in tailoring the core Handshake product to suit the unique needs of European students. Your work will directly contribute to the creation, testing, and enhancement of our European product, ensuring that students across Europe can seamlessly find the perfect job opportunities.

Your role

  • Customer Support

    • Answering questions regarding the Handshake product (incl. our Talentspace platform) daily and troubleshooting on questions raised by our partners
    • Expanding and deepening product adoption and usage to drive value for our partners
    • Identifying, diagnosing, and helping partners resolve data health issues
    • Responding to detailed inquiries that require leveraging technical product knowledge combined with your strategic understanding of Handshake and our goals

    Customer Engagement:

    • Participate in customer onboarding processes, helping partners to understand and utilise TalentSpace and Handshake effectively.

    Project Assistance:

    • Support ongoing customer success projects, such as creating educational content, webinars, and training materials.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement customer success initiatives.
    • Supporting with translation reviews for marketing materials

    Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for improving customer support processes and workflows.

Your experience

  • Language skills: Proficient in both English AND German or French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on mentality: Flexible generalist and solution-oriented pragmatic that takes the initiative to get involved and can work independently
  • Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical skills, a natural affinity for problem-solving, and the ability to comprehend complex relationships between product functionality and requirements.
  • Adaptability: Capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting tight deadlines

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
