As our People Operations Associate, you’ll be the heartbeat of our Tempe, AZ office and an essential partner in building a thoughtful, people-first workplace. From managing the day-to-day experience of our onsite team to supporting our distributed teams, this is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about creating order, driving clarity, and supporting teams behind the scenes.
You’ll report directly to the Head of People and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our systems, processes, and people programs are running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Office & Tech Management: Oversee our Tempe office operations—everything from keeping the space functional and welcoming to managing inventory, IT hardware, and software provisioning
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Own the employee experience from day one to day last, including equipment setup, orientation, and documentation
- Candidate Coordination: Support recruiting by coordinating onsite visits, and delivering a thoughtful candidate experience
- People Systems & Tools: Own and optimize day-to-day tasks in our HR tech stack (Justworks, Deel, Lattice, Slack, Google Suite, Zoom, Greenhouse)
- Culture & Events: Plan onsite team events, lunches, and recognition programs while helping us foster a strong, inclusive culture across the organization
- Employee Relations & Documentation: Support employee experience through documentation, policy rollouts, and coordination of sensitive processes with discretion and care
- Compliance Support: Assist in maintaining compliance across multiple states by tracking policy changes, updating documentation, and coordinating with internal stakeholders
- Special Projects: Assist the Head of People on strategic initiatives, from engagement surveys to compliance projects and internal communications
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with remote teammates to ensure a consistent, values-aligned experience for every Monographer
You’d Be a Great Fit If You:
- Have 2–4 years of experience in a People, HR, or Office Operations role—preferably at a fast-growing company
- Have experience with our tech stack or similar softwares and tools
- Are highly organized, detail-obsessed, and love creating systems that bring clarity to chaos
- Are tech-savvy and excited to use and improve tools like Justworks, Lattice, Greenhouse, and Slack
- Thrive in onsite environments and enjoy being the go-to person for keeping things running smoothly
- Are an exceptional communicator, both in writing and in person, and bring warmth and professionalism to every interaction
- Have experience with or exposure to employee relations, and know when to act with discretion and empathy
- Love building a culture where people feel supported, seen, and set up for success
This position will be based in our Tempe office, with working hours Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience in addition to our amazing benefits package and opportunities for growth.
