We’re looking for a Director of Sales Development to lead, empower, and scale our SDR organization as we continue to grow our go-to-market strategy. In this highly visible role, you’ll guide our SDR Managers and oversee the strategy, execution, and performance of our outbound and inbound teams.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how we identify, engage, and convert new opportunities - partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to ensure our SDR org consistently delivers high-quality pipeline that fuels company growth. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales.
So, what will you do at Monograph as Director of Sales Development?
- Lead, coach, and develop SDR Managers, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and growth.
- Own the overall Sales Development strategy and execution, driving qualified pipeline that supports company revenue goals.
- Partner with the VP of Sales to ensure alignment between SDR performance, handoff processes, and AE conversion.
- Optimize tools, systems, and workflows (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, etc.) to improve efficiency, visibility, and conversion rates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and RevOps to align on lead flow, ICP targeting, campaign execution, and reporting.
- Define clear metrics and KPIs for activity, pipeline, and conversion - using data to inform coaching, planning, and hiring decisions.
- Recruit, onboard, and elevate top SDR talent as the team continues to scale.
- Continuously evolve playbooks and enablement programs to ensure SDRs are equipped with the skills, confidence, and mindset to succeed.
What skills and experience do you need?
- 5–7+ years of experience in SaaS Sales Development, with at least 2–3 years managing managers.
- Demonstrated success building, scaling, and optimizing SDR organizations that deliver measurable pipeline growth.
- Strong understanding of outbound and inbound pipeline generation, lead qualification, and sales process alignment.
- Analytical and data-driven approach; experienced with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and other GTM tools.
- Excellent communicator and relationship-builder who thrives in a collaborative, metrics-driven environment.
- Committed to developing people, leading inclusively, and fostering a supportive, high-performing team culture.
Bonus if you have:
- Familiarity with AEC firms, project-based businesses, or professional services tools (QBO, PM tools, etc.).
- Experience with Challenger Sales methodology or strategic forecasting.
- A passion for design, technology, or the built environment.
Compensation:
$140-$175 base salary (depending on experience) and $210 OTE, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within our sales organization.
