About the Role:
The Employee Experience & Productivity team at Motive is a cutting‑edge, low‑ego, collaborative group responsible for improving employee productivity and experience through AI and digital tools. Our small but mighty team focuses on enabling Motive’s teams to work in a more seamless, productive way - ultimately creating an environment where employees can deliver their best work every day.
We develop, deploy, and maintain solutions that empower our teammates to grow their careers, navigate people processes, and get help quickly, while upholding security, governance, and data quality standards. We have already proven the value of AI and modern tooling internally, saving thousands of hours per week and driving high adoption across the company. Now we’re investing in strengthening the employee experience workstream with a dedicated product leader.
What You'll Do:
As a Product Manager, Employee Experience, you will own the execution for Motive’s internal tools and agents that support the employee growth cycle and HR processes. You will work closely with stakeholders across IT, Engineering, Data, and other business functions to design and enhance experiences that support key organizational processes. While your primary focus may include employee experience initiatives, this role offers broad exposure and high visibility across BizTech and other teams. This is an individual contributor position.
Responsibilities:
- Own employee growth cycle tooling: Lead the product roadmap and end-to-end delivery for Motive’s homegrown appraisal tool, including requirements gathering, prioritization, design, implementation, testing, launch, and iteration.
- Gather and refine requirements: Work closely with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and prioritize product requirements, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and user needs.
- Drive product development lifecycle: Manage the full product development process for new features and enhancements, including drafting Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), collaborating on solution design, overseeing build and test completion, and ensuring successful launches.
- Lead change management and communications: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute rollout plans, documentation, and communications for major product changes. Ensure that timelines, launches, and updates are well-coordinated, predictable, and effectively communicated to stakeholders.
- Measure and optimize product success: Define and track key success metrics such as adoption rates, task completion times, user satisfaction (e.g., NPS), and support volume. Use data-driven insights to inform product roadmap prioritization and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Product Management Experience: 5+ years of experience in Product Management or a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully owning and launching products.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and distill functional requirements into clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and roadmap items.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Experience defining product success metrics, implementing product instrumentation, and using data (e.g., A/B testing results, usage analytics) to evaluate impact, reduce friction, and inform prioritization.
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage the full product lifecycle from inception to completion, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and iteration. Experience with agile methodologies and the agentic AI development lifecycle is a strong plus.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with technology and learning new tools quickly.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex processes and systems in clear, accessible language for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- AI & automation curiosity: Genuine interest in how AI, automation, and agents can improve employee experience and productivity, with the ability to separate hype from practical value.
- Time-zone: Ability to work core collaboration hours in US time zones, partnering closely with stakeholders and teams based in North America. This role can be remote in Pakistan, but you must be able to work core collaboration hours in US time zones.
Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motive's core values. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives.
