About the Role

As a Corporate Marketing Project Manager at Motive, you will help drive the execution of high-impact marketing initiatives by bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to cross-functional work. You will own project plans for straightforward programs and lead key components of larger customer advocacy, content production, communications, and corporate marketing initiatives, ensuring stakeholders stay aligned on scope, timelines, dependencies, and delivery expectations.

In this role, you will work across Customer Marketing, Content Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Comms, and adjacent teams to keep priorities moving, surface risks early, and improve how work gets done. The right candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, and able to balance executional rigor with flexibility when priorities evolve across various audiences and channels.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage project plans for customer advocacy programs, content marketing development, PR/comms, and corporate initiatives, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and clear ownership across stakeholders.
  • Drive day-to-day execution of content calendars, customer story/case study creation, internal and external communications, and corporate campaigns to help ensure work is delivered on time and with high quality.
  • Identify project risks, blockers, and gaps in the content production or campaign process early, and proactively drive resolution with writers, PR partners, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, timelines, decisions, and action items clearly so cross-functional teams have the context needed to move work forward.
  • Improve project management workflows, editorial documentation, and team coordination practices to support more efficient marketing execution over time.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in project management, program management, content marketing, customer marketing, PR/communications, corporate events, or a similar cross-functional role.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and evolving requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools including Asana, Google Workspace, and spreadsheet-based tracking and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, maintain accountability, and keep projects moving through ambiguity.
  • Background in managing high-level cross-functional content production pipelines, customer reference/advocacy programs, and corporate communication strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Role Expectations

  • 2+ years of experience working in a marketing specialist or marketing project manager role supporting content, customer, or corporate marketing at a B2B company.
  • Proficient with Asana or similar project management tools, as well as Google suite, Figma, Glean, ChatGPT, Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, and familiarity with content distribution or PR tools.
  • Foundational understanding of content lifecycles, campaign execution, and general project management functions.
  • Takes ownership of the production and execution of strategies defined by project drivers.
  • Works within team OKRs and resource plans, influencing outcomes through high-quality project management and collaboration.
  • Understands diverse audience needs (internal employees, external media, customers, prospects) and applies that understanding to content execution and comms delivery.
  • Communicates effectively to facilitate decision-making, remove blockers, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Proactively identifies operational inefficiencies or execution risks in content and campaign workflows and drives solutions to completion.
