Our Regulatory Solutions Team

Our mission is to support Nu’s sustainable growth, ensuring the AML process and regulatory routines are in compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, challenging the status quo through:

  • Promoting the best customer experience to our fanatic customers, ensuring a high-quality standard of client data, as well as its regulatory adherence;
  • Execute AML operational routines including but not limited to KYC, PEPs, Sanctions, Enhanced Due Diligence, FATCA/CRS (KYC Ops Team), Transactional Analysis (AML Ops Team), and embargoes/freeze/unfreeze of funds (JudOrders Team) requirements, contributing to a more ethical and fair society, truly understanding that compliant operations are a key driving force for the solid growth and development of Nubank.
  • Being diligent, flexible, and resilient, according to Nu's principles!

To accomplish that, the RegSol—JudOrders team is charged with safeguarding Nu by adhering to established regulatory requirements regarding judicial inquiries from government bodies, mainly related to the freezing/unfreezing of funds.

As a RegSol - JudOrders Analyst, you're expected To:

  • Support the creation and definition of the embargoes orders ops flow ensuring compliance with established regulatory requirements while being efficient and agile.
  • Review, monitor, and respond to judicial requirements
  • Continuous support of projects to comply with key policies related to Judicial Orders scope and its operational routines.
  • Identify regulatory challenges and opportunities and use analytical tools to solve them;
  • Support the leaders in metrics and KPIs, facilitating the internal control environment of Ops queue;

We're Looking for a RegSol - JudOrders Analyst who has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree;
  • 3+ years experience in financial and non-financial local regulation and policies related to embargoes’ requests, supporting the end-to-end process since embargo order is received until its fulfillment.
  • Solid understanding of the specific regulations applicable to the embargoes processes.
  • Languages: Advance or native Spanish speaker and upper-Intermediate/Advanced English
  • Attention to detail, data driven & results oriented
  • A solid analytical background is desired. Must be comfortable manipulating data. Programming is not required, but candidates need to display interest in learning basic data analysis skills (e.g., SQL)
  • Great communication, enjoys engaging in discussions with people with different backgrounds and from different cultures.
