THE ROLE

Pangaea is hiring a Director of Growth to join our Marketing team! The ideal candidate will be an innovative, strategic and performance-oriented leader who isn’t afraid to roll up his/her/their sleeves and execute on a fast-paced growth program. Using their deep understanding of performance marketing, this person will be able to identify conversion optimization opportunities and strategies throughout the funnel. This role will directly report to the CMO and work with various departments to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our acquisition and paid digital channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop a comprehensive, full funnel digital marketing strategy, including paid performance marketing through SEM, paid social and affiliate marketing.
  2. Fuel revenue growth by driving traffic, finding ways to acquire new customers and converting them through a strategic performance marketing plan
  3. Define a vision and a roadmap for all digital marketing channels, using performance marketing to scale customer and revenue growth in a sustainable way
  4. Optimize and scale our digital marketing channels and campaigns, identifying new messaging, targeting and other relevant opportunities
  5. Identify, test, evaluate and monitor key metrics across digital marketing channels such as landing pages, ad copy and creative
  6. Own the always-on digital marketing strategy, execution, and experimentation of marketing campaigns driving customer acquisition to our DTC websites and revenue growth in our retail channels
  7. Create and share performance reports and dashboards to influence strategy and demand planning, increase conversion metrics and optimize campaign performance
  8. Collaborate with the Creative team to inform them of campaign performance, to create compelling assets for all digital marketing touchpoints and to strategize on future creative development
  9. Manage external agency relationships and vendors across affiliate, paid social and SEM/display. Ensure KPIs are met while maintaining Lumin’s and Meridian’s brand values

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 10 years experience in growth marketing at omni-channel CPG companies
  • Proven track record of growth, successful A/B testing, and optimization of conversion/funnel with an aptitude for experimentation and hypothesis-based testing.
  • Must be able to articulate data-driven recommendations to internal stakeholders and external partners to improve channel performance
  • Expertise of paid social platform algorithms, audience segments, bidding strategies, dynamic retargeting, pixels, scaling techniques, etc;
  • Ability to think innovatively, move quickly on new opportunities and embrace a start-up mentality
  • Experience with and passion for the health, beauty, wellness and/or personal care space

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The reasonably estimated annual base salary for this role ranges from $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 and will include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and location. Details of participation in benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

  • Health insurance: Pangaea offers medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. Out of three amazing medical plans, we cover 100% for the first plan for employees and 90% of the monthly premium for two higher coverage plans. We also provide 75% of the monthly premium for family coverage.
  • 401(k) matching: After a 3-month waiting period, Pangaea will match up to 4% of the employee's elected contribution to their retirement plan.
  • Time off: Pangaea recognizes 14 paid holidays per year. We also have 6 additional “Pangaea Fridays” throughout the year where employees can get a head start on their weekend and take the whole day off. Lastly, we have a flexible time off policy and trust our employees to take vacation when they need it!
  • Staff discount: All staff members are given $100 of credit per month to use on Pangaea products so that they can try, own (and love!) all the products we sell.
