About the Role:

At SaaS Labs, Product Marketing defines and executes the GTM strategy. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Product Marketing to lead a team of product marketers.
In this pivotal role, you will take end-to-end ownership and execution of the GTM strategy critical to accelerating revenue growth. You will develop value-based messaging, create compelling content, generate competitive positioning and deliver sales enablement. You will also drive product launches, partnering closely with the Product team and collaborate with the broader Go-To-Market functions.
What will you do in this role?
  • Deep Customer Insight: Regularly interview customers to gain deep customer insights into the pains, triggers and benefits critical to developing compelling customer value propositions.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing research to gain insights into market trends and competitive threats and use them to inform positioning, strategies and product roadmaps.
  • Market Definition: Armed with the deep customer and competitive insights, analyze funnel and customer lifecycle data to define the buyer categories, market segments and ICPs.
  • Value-Based Messaging: Craft differentiated, value-based messaging based on deep customer insights for each major customer segment.
  • GTM Enablement: Create sales tools (e.g., prospect/customer decks, datasheets, competitive battlecards) and train sales/Ps/CS teams to deliver compelling value-based messaging that increases win rates and NRR.
  • Product Strategy & Launches: Working closely with Product, accelerate growth by influencing product roadmap and successfully launching new products that deliver more customer value, improve competitiveness and expand TAM.
  • Analytics and Experimentation: Track key product marketing KPIs, including iterating on messaging and sales tools to improve conversions in the sales and marketing funnel.
  • Team Leadership: Build, develop and lead a high-performing product marketing team. Foster a growth mindset with a focus on creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What you Bring to this role?
  • Education: You have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field.
  • PMM Experience: You have 10+ years of product marketing experience in B2B tech and SaaS, with proven results in developing messaging and content for products that serve multiple use cases.
  • Leadership Experience: You have 5+ years of experience managing high-performance product marketing teams with a track record of success developing and executing GTM strategies and high-profile launches. While you may have led teams in the past, you are equally comfortable rolling your sleeves to complete tasks yourself, if needed.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You possess exceptional communication and story-telling skills (written, verbal, visual) in English, both for internal and customer audiences.
  • Analytical: You have strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage both qualitative and quantitative “evidence” to inform decisions and measure performance.
  • Entrepreneurial: You are self-directed with an entrepreneurial approach and passion, a sense of urgency and a bias for action.
  • GTM Motion: You have experience in both PLG and SLG GTM motions.
  • Customer Segments: You have marketed to both SMB and Mid-Market sized customers.
  • Domain Expertise: You have experience in the CCaaS or related markets.
