Why this role exists

At SaaS Labs, the need for robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and a well managed payables function is mission critical. This role exists to anchor the controllership function owning the full Record to Report (R2R) cycle, managing end to end Accounts Payable and ensuring audit readiness and compliance across a multi entity, multi currency environment.

The Senior Manager-Finance will be the backbone of financial integrity at SaaS Labs - delivering accurate books, clean audits, timely closes and scalable processes that give leadership reliable data to make decisions.

What you'll actually do

  • Own the end to end R2R cycle - General Ledger management, month end and year end close, inter-company reconciliations, and financial consolidation across entities.

  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP).

  • Drive the monthly close calendar, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and quality of reporting across all business units and geographies.

  • Manage consolidation across multiple legal entities and currencies, including elimination entries and intra group transactions.

  • Maintain robust chart of accounts, accounting policies, and internal controls in line with company growth and compliance requirements.

  • Own end to end AP function - Vendor onboarding, invoice processing, 3 way PO matching, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations.

  • Drive automation of AP processes using ERP workflows and AI-enabled tools to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.

  • Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and business teams to ensure purchase orders, contracts, and invoices are aligned.

  • Lead and manage statutory audits (internal and external), acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensuring clean, on time audit closures.

  • Champion use of ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)

What we're looking for

Must Have

  • CA (Chartered Accountant), CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification - mandatory.

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in Finance / Controllership roles, with hands-on ownership of R2R.

  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end month-end and year end close processes with strict timelines.

  • Strong experience in financial consolidation across multiple entities and currencies.

  • Deep understanding of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).

  • Hands on experience leading statutory audits - including preparation, auditor management, and closure.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

  • Strong financial acumen - ability to read, interpret, and present financial statements to leadership.

  • Comfortable working autonomously across time zones in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Good to Have

  • Experience in a B2B SaaS or a high growth technology company.

  • Exposure to multi country, multi currency consolidation and international tax compliance.

  • Experience implementing or improving ERP, AP automation, or close management tools (e.g., Tipalti, Stampli, FloQast, BlackLine).

  • Familiarity with transfer pricing, FEMA regulations, or cross-border intercompany accounting.

  • Prior experience supporting fundraising due diligence or M&A financial reviews.

  • Experience managing or mentoring a small finance / accounting team.

Edges that help

  • You’ve closed books in under 5 business days consistently - and built the processes to make it repeatable.

  • You’ve been through at least one Big 4 or statutory audit as the company’s primary finance contact and came out clean.

  • You think in systems, not tasks - you build controls and SOPs that work without your constant supervision.

  • You’ve worked at the intersection of Finance and Product/Engineering to automate workflows that others still do manually.

  • You’re as comfortable presenting a variance analysis to the CFO as you are rolling up your sleeves to fix a reconciliation break.

How we work

  • Own outcomes, not tasks - Focus on clean books, audit-ready financials, and a well-run function.

  • Build for scale - Drive automation, process improvements, and controls that grow with the business.

  • Use data to drive decisions - Improve close timelines, AP accuracy, and reporting quality through insights.

  • Partner across teams - Work closely with Legal, Tax, Finance Business Partners, Sales Ops, and Engineering.

  • Move with urgency - Prioritize execution and never let the close calendar slip.

  • Challenge and improve - Identify gaps, solve root causes, and strengthen controls proactively.

  • Operate with high ownership - Take initiative and drive results with minimal hand-holding.
