Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Money Movement and Storage team is the beating heart of Stripe’s Global Payments and Treasury Network. We build the platforms and systems that connect Stripe into the global financial ecosystem; and enable businesses to operate and grow worldwide. This includes our FX products; payout rails; and APIs for exposing core money management experiences to users.

What you’ll do

As the product lead for the Money Movement and Storage platform, you will be responsible for defining our long term strategy and roadmap for growing Stripe’s Global Payments and Treasury Network. This includes building our internal platforms and systems for moving funds cross border, operating regulating money flows, converting funds on behalf of users, and enabling financial products for businesses worldwide. You will lead and grow a team of product managers across multiple geographies. It’s a chance to have a huge impact on increasing the GDP of the internet!

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand the ways that businesses around the world operate and identify fund flows and money management capabilities they need to grow faster.
  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for enabling these businesses to expand worldwide.
  • Drive the technical strategy for building out internal systems that allow us to open up more global money management capabilities to businesses.
  • Own and grow one of the company’s largest P&Ls.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • You have 10+ years of experience in a product role and / or finance role, leading and scaling products with significant strategic scope and complexity.
  • Background in finance, fintech, or global payments
  • Experience leading products that require coordination of many stakeholders and cross functional teams
  • Experience developing a multi-year vision, strategy and roadmap for large scale products
  • Experience hiring, managing, and building high performing customer-focused Product Management teams in multiple continents
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $268,000 - $402,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
