About the team
Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Stripe’s success. We have a world-class team working together to attract and hire thoughtful, collaborative, and focused people who drive Stripe's global impact. To further our mission, we are seeking an experienced Recruiting Manager to lead a team of Go-To-Market (GTM) Recruiters. This role will manage a full-cycle GTM recruiting team, focusing on their development and driving outstanding performance to achieve hiring goals.
What you’ll do
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the development and direct management of a group of recruiters, leading cross-functional projects, and managing performance metrics. We are seeking a proactive leader who thrives in a learning-oriented environment—someone eager to explore new ideas and experiment with innovative approaches. You will spearhead strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and productivity of Stripe’s recruiting organization while closely collaborating with our GTM leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop a Team: Guide a team of full-cycle GTM recruiters to ensure exceptional performance, enhance their recruiting skills, and support their professional growth.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with senior GTM leaders to understand their hiring needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies that meet headcount targets effectively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with departments such as Finance, People Operations, Benefits, Onboarding, and Legal to ensure a high-quality and cohesive candidate experience.
- Talent Pipeline Development: Regularly cultivate a robust pipeline of high-quality candidates by driving initiatives in employer branding, events, and employee referrals.
- Data-Driven Insights: Provide timely reporting of key metrics and insights to inform decision-making, optimize processes, and enhance overall recruiting effectiveness.

Minimum requirements
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting management, with a preference for in-house recruitment experience.
- Proven track record of partnering effectively with hiring teams throughout the recruiting process; acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to drive hiring success.
- Passionate about mentoring recruiters, providing them with coaching and guidance; invigorated by the opportunity to help your direct reports reach their full potential.
- Capable of navigating fast-paced environments and providing clarity in ambiguous situations for the team.
- Strong drive to identify and engage top talent, fostering relationships with candidates.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective connections with individuals at all levels.
- Exceptional teamwork abilities and proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience thriving and prioritizing tasks in dynamic, ever-changing environments.
The annual US base salary range for this role is $187,400 - $281,200. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
