This role is primarily in-person (4 days per week) at our Chicago office in the Loop (20 N Wacker Dr), with one remote workday each week.

How We Work

The Sales Operations Business Partner will be responsible for supporting WeTravel’s Sales Team, as well as other functional areas—such as Marketing, Finance, and Product—as needed. In this role, you will be assigned to work with one or more Sales Leaders, providing governance, process management, and enablement support to help them effectively manage their teams in partnership with Sales Leadership.

This is an individual contributor role that is mission critical to the success of our sales organization, and must always be focused on our customer, the Sales Leader, and Account Executive. To achieve that, you will work within an established cadence to create a relationship, understand the needs of managed team(s), share and analyze standard and custom reports, and be the go-to person to help create a frictionless selling environment (defined as maintaining sales policies, rep accountability, and suggesting process improvements).

This person must be comfortable working within a standard sales tech stack and using our systems to adhere to our standard operating cadence. This includes utilizing all standard reports and dashboards to maintain data, pipeline, and forecast hygiene.

Primary Skills/Responsibilities

  • Work with Sales Leaders to drive pipeline development/management and reliable forecasts.

  • Ensures team(s) adherence to defined sales methodology.

  • Gathers and analyzes information from various business systems including HubSpot and Tableau to produce actionable ad hoc reporting.

  • Work within, and share perspective/analysis of corporate reports and dashboards against defined KPI’s.

  • Provides advice, guidance, and consolidation of materials for business reviews, account planning and forecasting.

  • Responsible for data integrity and quality (Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Leads). Must collaborate with data governance team and ensure that sales is doing their part to maintain data accuracy of information in HubSpot.

  • Provide ad hoc reporting or project work as needed by manager or partnered sales leader.

  • Work closely with Sales Enablement to provide supplemental onboarding of new/existing sales staff. This person is also responsible to drive all reps and leaders through all training certification programs and escalating when certifications are not achieved.

  • Responsible for validation of all transactions and managing the process of correction and escalation as needed.

  • Manage lead flow through HubSpot and provide guidance on lead follow-up by defined SLA’s and KPI’s.

On a Weekly Basis You Will Find Yourself

  • Serving as the strategic business partner to Sales leadership, owning leading indicators, forecasting integrity/metrics, pipeline health, corporate and ad hoc reporting, and revenue risk visibility across segments and regions.

  • Working within the broader Commercial Operations team to drive lead-to-cash optimization by aligning sales process, CRM, and customer journey stages to improve conversion rates, margin visibility, and forecast accuracy.

  • Translating data into action by delivering executive-level insights on coverage, productivity, win rates, pricing trends, and capacity planning.

  • Working within the broader Commercial Operations team to identify and eliminate revenue friction across tools, workflows, and handoffs, ensuring strong CRM adoption, clean data governance, and scalable operating discipline.

  • Partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to align process, system utilization, KPIs, attribution, headcount planning, and performance metrics against any defined targets.

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Support, or Business Operations.

  • Experience in SaaS.

  • Experience with business analysis.

  • Experience with CRM programs (Salesforce, HubSpot, Sugar).

  • Skilled at using data to understand and implement system user requirements that drive business priorities.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgement, and ability to effectively influence decision-making.

  • Proven experience participating in cross-functional teams and/or other significant complex projects.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbally and written).

  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detail.

  • Innovative problem solving, analytical, and execution skills.

  • Excellent organization, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Travel is not required, but might be needed from time to time.
