About the Role

As the Infrastructure Operations Manager at DriveWealth, you will oversee the operational health, vendor relationships, and technical delivery for our network, data center, and cloud infrastructure. As the liaison between DriveWealth, external vendors, and internal teams, you will ensure operational excellence, maintain infrastructure reliability, and support the technical programs that power our global trading ecosystem.

This role blends technical program management, vendor oversight, and infrastructure operations to ensure uptime, scalability, and seamless execution across multiple initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Own vendor relationships for co-location facilities, network infrastructure, and managed services—defining scopes, negotiating SLAs, and ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery.
  • Manage infrastructure operations across on-premise data centers, co-location facilities, and AWS cloud environments to ensure 24/7 reliability and performance.
  • Act as the primary liaison between DriveWealth engineering, operations, and external vendors, facilitating communication, alignment, and execution across stakeholders.
  • Oversee network operations, including WAN, LAN, and hybrid cloud, ensuring best practices and compliance with security policies.
  • Track and manage program timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring clear communication of risks, dependencies, and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support Agile/Scrum practices by running stand-ups, managing Jira boards, and aligning deliverables with engineering and product priorities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on AWS-based integrations and network transformations, including new site builds and infrastructure modernization projects.
  • Coordinate incident response and escalation for infrastructure-related issues, driving root cause analysis and preventive measures.
  • Champion operational excellence by maintaining documentation, enforcing change management procedures, and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.

What You’ll Need

  • 7+ years of experience in infrastructure operations, network engineering, or technical program management, ideally within fintech, trading, or high-availability environments.
  • Strong understanding of L2 / L3 networking technologies: WAN (extranets, SDWAN, MPLS, L2 connectivity, GRE), VPNs, VLANs, and related protocols (BGP, multicast, IPSec, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of AWS networking technologies: VPCs, Subnets, Routing, Direct Connect, and VPC Endpoints.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and overseeing third-party delivery for infrastructure, networking, and cloud projects.
  • Proficiency in AWS infrastructure services (VPC, EC2, RDS, IAM) and hybrid cloud/on-premise environments.
  • Familiarity with networking hardware (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Arista) and network monitoring/troubleshooting tools.
  • Familiarity with containerization concepts and working in an environment that leverages Kubernetes and other container orchestration platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs with multiple dependencies, stakeholders, and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment; CSM or SAFe certifications a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills—able to bridge technical and business priorities.
  • Strong Experience with Jira, Confluence, and project tracking tools to manage workflows and reporting. JQL and Jira Plan/Timelines experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
