What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze and interpret regulatory rules and regulations to determine impact on new and existing business lines, policies, products, procedures and services
  • Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures
  • Effectively communicate regulatory and procedural changes and/or important issues to affected business unit(s) and build strong relationships with business partners
  • Perform audits, with directional assistance from manager or supervisor, of products, procedures and services to meet internal company standards and ensure compliance in all areas
  • Research and respond to customer and partner complaints, regulatory inquiries or investigations about compliance and/or company issues
  • Support regulatory exams by collecting documentation, coordinating responses, and ensuring timely follow-up
  • Monitor Firm employee trading activity to identify potential conflicts or policy violations
  • Develop, consolidate, and analyze data for Compliance management reports and periodic status updates on key issues and projects
  • Conduct daily reviews of trading activity across multiple asset classes to identify unusual behavior or potential rule violations, including spoofing, layering, and insider trading
  • Review, investigate, and document surveillance alerts and exception reports, escalating issues as needed
  • Prepare detailed investigation reports and maintain well-organized records of all review and monitoring activities
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries by gathering, analyzing, and delivering requested trading and compliance data

What You’ll Need:

  • 1-3 years of experience in general compliance responsibilities such as dealing with customer complaints, registrations and other compliance roles within the financial industry
  • Experience responding to regulatory inquiries or exams (e.g., FINRA, SEC, or Exchanges) is a plus

Compensation
Compensation package offerings are based on candidate experience and technical qualifications, as it relates to the role. These are identified and determined throughout your interviewing experience.

New York, NY (Hybrid) Pay Range
$85,000$110,000 USD
