About The Role:
We are seeking a Director to lead and scale our Treasury Operations function at DriveWealth. In this role, you will own the strategy and ongoing optimization of how client and firm funds move through the organization, while focusing on risk mitigation and liquidity. This is a critical leadership role where you will build scalable processes and guide the team through the company's growth and success.
Qualified candidates will bring deep expertise in treasury operations and cash management with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the main point of contact between operations, business, technology, and finance departments to ensure clear communication and collaboration on critical cash management matters like settlements and clearing
- Lead and mentor a team that focuses on managing the daily cash requirements and settlements of DriveWealth and its clients
- Oversee cash settlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Analyze and explain changes in cash positions, identify trends and provide insights to relevant stakeholders
- Mitigate risks and implement efficiencies associated with cash management activities, ensuring compliance and best practices are maintained
What You’ll Need:
- 10+ years of experience in finance
- 5+ years of experience in treasury and/or cash management
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 99/7 licenses
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across all levels from peers to senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to develop and enhance cash management processes
- Proven leadership capability with a track record of driving cross-functional collaboration at scale
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to be in the NY office at least 4 days a week
