About the Role
DriveWealth is seeking a hands-on Senior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team supporting core trading platforms. This role is embedded within a product engineering team and focuses on building scalable automation, ensuring high-quality releases, and improving testing practices across the SDLC.
The ideal candidate has strong technical automation experience and prior exposure to trading systems, margin products, and crypto asset classes.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Cucumber (BDD), and RestAssured
- Build and execute automated tests across API, FIX protocol, and UI layer
- Validate end-to-end trading workflows including order lifecycle, margin flows, and post trading
- Create test plans, scenarios, and regression suites for financial systems
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github Actions)
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot defects, and improve test coverage
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams on testing strategy and quality improvements
- Participate in test reviews, bug triage, and production issue analysis
What You’ll Need
- 8–10 years QA experience in financial services or trading platforms
- Strong hands-on programming in Java
- Automation experience with Cucumber / BDD, RestAssured, Playright, Typescript
- Experience testing REST APIs and FIX Protocol, Kafka
- Knowledge of Margin trading and Crypto asset workflows
- Experience with AWS, Git, Jenkins, SQL/Postgres
- Familiarity with JIRA and test management tools (Allure Testops)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Compensation
Compensation package offerings are based on candidate experience and technical qualifications, as it relates to the role. These are identified and determined throughout your interviewing experience.
Please note: this role is expected to come into our office on a cadence set by the Hiring Manager/Team.
