Figma is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to make design accessible to all. Born on the Web, Figma helps entire product teams brainstorm, design and build better products — from start to finish. Whether it’s consolidating tools, simplifying workflows, or collaborating across teams and time zones, Figma makes the design process faster, more efficient, and fun while keeping everyone on the same page. From great products to long-lasting companies, we believe that nothing great is made alone—come make with us!

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help lead our Developer Productivity team, which is a major initiative at Figma and a key part of our customer base. In this role, you‘ll be focused on the developer experience inside and outside of Figma, and you’ll explore how we can supercharge a developer’s efficiency in translating designs to code.

Our first major developer product—Dev Mode—is still in an early stage, and there’s so much left to figure out. With a passion for improving developer workflows, a curiosity for how product teams work together, and an appreciation for technical challenges, you can help us define the future of design ↔ dev collaboration (and more!)

This is a full time role that can be held from our London hub.

What you'll do at Figma:

  • Deeply understand the experience and pain points of front-end developers working in Figma
  • Work closely with, and support the growth of a diverse team of engineers and designers who are passionate about building tools that make developers feel at home in Figma.
  • Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to set strategy, priorities and define a long term vision for the Developer tools team.
  • Partner with product & engineering teams across Figma to define strategic bets across the entire product surface with a focus on developer efficiency and code generation.
  • Grow your career in an engaged, creative, and thoughtful community.

Some projects you could work on:

  • Providing higher quality and more useful code generation within Figma
  • Figuring out how to better connect design systems in Figma to external code components in Dev Mode.
  • Integrating new AI technology to accelerate design → production
  • Imagining new possibilities in this space, and help craft the future vision for 2025 and beyond.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Shipped a number of successful, high-impact consumer facing products
  • Experience working on highly technical products, or products catering towards technical audiences

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • A development background, or if you have worked on developer tooling in the past
  • An eye for the detail, both in terms of user experience and the technical nuances
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, scrappy environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly at different altitudes, including driving alignment with senior stakeholders

At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right
