The Role

We’re looking for a highly organized and collaborative contract Recruiting Coordinator to help support and scale our hiring efforts. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering a people-first candidate experience by managing interview logistics, serving as a welcoming point of contact, and ensuring a smooth experience throughout the hiring process.

The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. You’re eager to learn, take initiative, and build strong cross-functional relationships.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews efficiently while delivering a seamless candidate experience
  • Manage recruiting tools with care, maintaining accurate and up-to-date data
  • Communicate with professionalism, empathy, and discretion
  • Represent Handshake as a warm, friendly, and reliable point of contact for candidates
  • Support ad hoc and strategic coordination projects as needed

You Have

Must Haves

  • 1+ year(s) of scheduling or coordination experience, ideally in a high-energy, fast-paced setting
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong written communication
  • A bias for action, humility, and a growth mindset
  • Sound judgment and comfort handling sensitive information
